About us:
Ken Rona: The Digital Ad Lab was founded by Ken (he just calls it the "Ad Lab"). Ken has a PhD in Behavioral Economics from Duke University and has been a practicing data scientist before the term was invented. Ken has spent the last 20 years helping all members of the programmatic supply chain to apply data science to improve business results. He has founded or been part of the founding team for four startups, most recently Chalice.ai, a company that creates custom bidding algorithms based on clients' business KPIs , FxM, a digital media procurement and financing company, and now, the Ad Lab.
John Lane: John started in digital with early work at Charles Schwab, IBM, and AOL. As the media landscape evolved towards programmatic, he worked at x+1 and Rocket Fuel, helping clients like EA, Intuit, and Riot Games take advantage of the newly emerging capabilities. At Ad Lab, John's role is simple but essential: listen to clients, understand their needs, and ensure the Data Science team has the clarity to deliver results that matter.
